We are excited to bring more theatrical opportunities to our community with the introduction of a new Youth Theater Program, Coastal Arts Student Theater (C.A.S.T.)! And we are thrilled to welcome Emily Mirabile to the team as Lincoln Theater’s C.A.S.T. Program Director.

​Lincoln Theater’s Youth Theater Program is tuition based with opportunities offered year-round. Beginning in September 2026, young performers will have the opportunity to participate in the pilot production of Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile JR., an original musical The Rooster Who Wouldn't Crow, classes through the Theater Lab & Vocal Studio, as well as the C.A.S.T. Touring Troupe headed to compete at the National Performing Arts Festival in Orlando Florida!

This special pilot production, offers performers the exciting opportunity to help bring a brand-new adaptation of the beloved story to life. Join Lyle and his new human friends as they face their fears, find their voices, and discover the power of friendship in this heartwarming musical inspired by Bernard Waber's classic picture books. (Ages 7-18)
Theater Lab (Ages 8-15)
The Theater Lab is a workshop designed for young performers who are ready to explore the craft of acting in an engaging and supportive environment.
Vocal Studio (Ages 8-15)
Young Artists Vocal Studio is a performance-based class designed for motivated young singers who are ready to grow in skill, confidence, and stage presence.
Emily Mirabile
Previously the director of the Y Arts theater program out of Boothbay, Emily Mirabile offers a high-quality education for young performers. Under her direction, participants are given the opportunity to learn far more than lines, blocking, and choreography. They will develop self-confidence, creativity, empathy, responsibility and gain a deep understanding of the importance of community. Through a wide variety of productions, performers as young as 3 years old are welcomed to the stage to develop skills for teamwork, the art of storytelling, and self-expression in a supportive, fun environment. From first-time actors to seasoned performers, Emily empowers our community’s youth to shine onstage and grow offstage.
