Just Us is a powerful and deeply humanizing documentary from Dr. Carey Candrian, associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Through candid interviews with 26 individuals, the film explores what it means to live in a world where safety and inclusion are not guaranteed—especially for those in the LGBTQ community. While the interviewees’ experiences within society may differ from those of heterosexual individuals and couples, their hopes, relationships, and day-to-day lives are strikingly similar.
